Animals can suffer from a variety of eye diseases just like people. These include eyelid defects, tumors around and within the eye, corneal infection or injury, cataract, glaucoma, retinal degeneration, uveitis and many others. Veterinary ophthalmologists are uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat these ocular diseases.
