Veterinary Client Services Representative (CSR)  / Receptionist

Our growing veterinary ophthalmology practice (Vision Care For Animals in Palo Alto) is looking for a personable self-motivated individual who will be the “face” and “voice”  at the front desk as our client services representative (CSR). 

Experience and ability to multitask (especially with call handling while keeping cool and level headed) is essential. Our philosophy at VCFA is to excel at providing our clients & patients with the support and expertise to help them.

We are a paperless office… working within a browser-based medical record system… therefore command of email and electronic document handling are essential skills. 

The position includes working as a part-time to full-time CSR, and when the situation arrises rooming clients and obtaining patient histories… a challenging position for sure …

Qualified candidates should have the following skill set

-Prior front office/receptionist/customer service experience

-Be full of enthusiasm

-Have the ability to work in a team-building atmosphere 

-Be calm and maintain poise

-Have an upbeat positive outlook

RVT REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN 

Vision Care for Animals , a veterinary ophthalmology specialty clinic in Palo Alto is seeking a registered veterinary technician (RVT) to join our exceptional team.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self motivated and have at least 2 years of practice experience.

We are looking for an experienced surgical / anesthesia tech with proficiency in anesthesia and familiarity with mechanical ventilation and outstanding patient monitoring skills. Previous ophthalmology experience a plus but not necessary.

Applicants should be also be proficient in phlebotomy, IV catheter placement and have a strong emphasis in client communication.
